Sabah Umno Leaders Reminded To Always Be Sincere In Struggle
KOTA BELUD, June 11 (Bernama) -- Sabah UMNO Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Seri Musa Aman has reminded party leaders in the state to always be sincere in their struggles to further strengthen the party.
Musa, who is also chief minister, said this was important because a struggle without sincerity was wrong and would only weaken the party.
"Don't stab each other. Don't play out others behind their backs because this is not the way of Sabah UMNO. If we are sincere, no jealousy or hatred, definitely Sabah UMNO will always be in good condition, strong and solid.
"Actually, sincerity is the key to our unity and strength. As such, others often say Sabah is UMNO's stronghold," he noted.
He said this in his speech at the Sabah UMNO Zone 1 (Kudat, Kota Marudu, Tuaran and Kota Belud) breaking-the-fast programme here today.
Also present were UMNO Treasurer and Kota Belud UMNO Division chief Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yahya Hussin, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan, Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia, Tuaran UMNO Division chief, Datuk Hajiji Noor, Kota Marudu UMNO Division chief, Datuk Wetrom Bahanda and Kudat UMNO Division chief Datuk Bolkiah Ismail.
Musa said leaders in UMNO were like brothers and should help each other.
