BN's 3 Approaches To Recapture Segambut

KUALA LUMPUR, June 21 (Bernama) --Listen, research and find solutions. These are the three approaches used by the Barisan Nasional (BN) to recapture the Segambut parliamentary seat from the opposition.

Segambut MCA division chief Datuk Daniel Ling Sia Chin said the approaches would not only solve problems faced by the people in the area but also strengthen voter confidence.

"Since last year, we have adopted the three approaches, that is to listen, research and find solutions to address the people's problems...the result is the voters. especially the Chinese are seen as favouring BN once again.

"Here, the opposition held the seat for two terms but they could not solve the people's problems...so, we in the MCA and other BN component parties are taking the approach to solve problems in the interest of the people," he added.

He was speaking to reporters after the launch of the Segambut MCA division's 14th General Election machinery. Also present was Federal Territory MCA chief, Datuk Yew Teong Look.

Ling said the division worked with various agencies and local authorities such as the Kuala Lumpur City Hall and Alam Flora Sdn Bhd to resolve some of the problems in the Segambut parliamentary constituency.
