BN Selangor To Embark State-Wide 'Jelajah Kasih Negeriku' Tour
SHAH ALAM, Sept 5 (Bernama) -- Selangor Barisan Nasional (BN) will embark on a state-wide lecture series tour called 'Jelajah Kasih Negeriku' which is aimed at disseminating the latest information on local and national issues to the people in the state.
Its Information chief, Datuk Mohamad Satim Diman said the informative tour, to be held in a casual atmosphere beginning in the middle of this month, would cover all 22 parliamentary and state constituencies.
"We will go down to all these areas as we have received a lot of complaints and information about the failure of the opposition-led Selangor government in serving the people and had broken their promises which were made during the previous general election, such as the provision of free education and good infrastructure.
"We want to ensure that the people of Selangor get what they deserve. At the same time, BN will approach the people of Selangor via the tour to explain on national issues being played by the opposition such as the GST (Goods and Services Tax) and 1MDB (1Malaysia Development Berhad)," he told a press conference here today.
Mohd Satim also said the programme would give an opportunity to the target groups to share ideas and various information to enable the Selangor BN to draft the solutions as well as to come out with its manifesto for the 14th General Election.
