Distribution Of Economic Cake Should Be Further Fine-Tuned - Hasan
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 2 (Bernama) -- The distribution of the economic cake should be further fine-tuned so that the people and every district in the country will get their fair shares of the country's wealth and thus, help maintain social stability, a government backbencher said.
Datuk Seri Hasan Malek (BN-Kuala Pilah) said any flaw in the distribution of the country's wealth could bring about negative impact to the extent of causing chaos and destruction to a peaceful and harmonious country.
"However, Malaysians are lucky and should be grateful as the country is being led by the government that has always strived to give justice to the people in terms of wealth distribution," he said when debating the Supply Bill 2018 at at the Dewan Rakyat sitting today.
Hasan said in the 2018 budget, the people could see how every policy, initiative and programme lined up by the government did not neglect any race, religion or district in the country.
"I see benefits for even the minor ethnic groups. No group is being left out. Fair allocations are being set aside even for the Orang Asli community," he said.
