JASA Clarifies Current Issues With Facts To Face GE14
MIRI, Nov 9 (Bernama) -- The Special Affairs Department (JASA) will adopt the 'explain with concrete facts' approach to address various current issues in facing the 14th General Elections (GE14).
Miri JASA said among the issues that were being addressed ahead of the GE14 is the cost of living in rural areas such as in Baram so that the people understood the actual facts.
"Issues related to local and national politics are also attracting the attention of grassroot communities here," it said in a statement here today.
The statement was issued today in conjunction with the Engagement With Community programme held yesterday with 70 local community leaders in Sibuti, Baram and Baram, aimed to discuss current political issues and strengthen the support of Barisan Nasional (BN) voters in the GE14.
Also present at the programme was Sarawak JASA deputy director Anwar Hanafi Ardimansyah.
