2,500 Job Opportunities Available At MITI East Coast Career Seminar, Interview Fair
KOTA BHARU, Nov 15 (Bernama) -- A total of 2,500 job opportunities will be available in conjunction with the East Coast Zone Malaysian Investment Development Board (MIDA) career exhibition and interview fair to be held from Nov 19 and 20 here.
Kelantan MITI director Nik Mohd Fahim Muhaimin said the programme is expected to attract over 5,000 visitors, including graduates or job seekers from the state, Terengganu and Pahang.
"There are 27 big companies offering 2,500 job opportunities that promised good prospects for the applicants.
"Graduates or those graduating soon should take this opportunity because the posts offered are worthwhile and they need to prepare well to attend the interview to be held on Nov 19," he told reporters here last night.
Nik Mohd Fahim said at the programme, the public could take a closer look at the role of the relevant ministry and its agencies in developing the economy, including small and medium entreprises (SMIs), and trade.
MITI would be providing a ?MITI Day? special vehicle to transport people from several locations, among others, Kota Bharu Bus Station and Sultan Muhammad Ke IV Station to the venue, he added.
