Strengthen Networking Between UMNO Youth, Puteri - Hishammuddin
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 (Bernama) -- The network of cooperation between UMNO Youth and Puteri needs to be strengthened in efforts to attract the young and help the party in the upcoming 14th general election.
UMNO vice-president, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said such cooperation was also vital for the party's survival.
"We know that since the last two years, UMNO has been attacked by certain quarters and in fact, our former leaders have also been attacking us. However, this year, we are stronger and more united.
"Through the collaboration of UMNO Youth and Puteri, I am confident we can bring back the feel good factor to UMNO," he said at the Pink Reunion 2.0 2017 dinner function organised by Puteri UMNO, here.
Held in conjunction with this year's UMNO general assembly, it is aimed at forging closer relations between former leaders and members of the movement.
Also present was Puteri UMNO chief, Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin.
The UMNO General Assembly 2017, from tomorrow until Dec 9, will be held at the Putra World Trade Centre, with 5,739 delegates expected to attend the event.
