Mahdzir Advises Mahathir To Cease Criticism Of Leaders
KUALA NERANG, Jan 5 (Bernama) -- Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid today advised Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to cease what he described as the latter's political antics of verbally attacking the country's leaders and tarnishing the government's image.
The 92-year-old Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) chairman should repent in consideration of his age and having administered the country for 22 years, he said.
Dr Mahathir would say anything without considering the feelings of others and the impact of his words on them, he said to reporters when asked to comment on Dr Mahathir's recent criticism of PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.
