Sabah BN Needs 'Winning Mentality' For GE14 - Musa
KOTA KINABALU, Jan 18 (Bernama) -- Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) needs to have the 'winning mentality' in all aspects in facing the 14th General Election (GE14), according to Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman.
Musa, who is also state BN Chairman, said the general election should be deemed important to ensure that BN would remain as the ruling government.
"Some have even called the GE14 as the mother of all elections. Whatever it is, GE14 is important to each and everyone of us.
"If (we) want to win, we must have ways to win...must think of winning and act on it,"he said at the dinner between Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Sabah community leaders here today.
Musa also reminded BN members not to be complacent but to strengthen their work, cooperation and tolerance among each other to ensure victory.
"We must go to the ground to explain to the people what BN is capable of doing. We must also explain why we are supporting our prime minister as we have received a number of benefits under his leadership.
"This is fact and not to butter him up,"he said.
Musa explained that the federal government had approved a number of allocations since Najib became Prime Minister, which contributed to the rapid development of the state.
Among them were the Sabah International Convention Center (SICC) project which was expected to be completed by year-end, Tanjung Aru Eco Development Project and the Pan Borneo Highway, he added.
