BN's Aid Is Continuous, Not Seasonal - Idris
BESUT, Jan 20 (Bernama) - Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh said the Barisan Nasional's (BN) aid to the people is given on a continuous basis, and not seasonal as done by other parties.
"In Besut, for example, the community housing programme for the poor has been implemented since two years ago and the pledge to build 200 housing units has already been met.
"As for education facilities, we have built many community colleges and polytechnics. The people are aware of the positive changes brought by the BN government,"
Terengganu BN under the leadership of Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman would win the general election, he said commenting a remark by PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar in Marang last night that the party would win many seats in Terengganu.
Asked about the strategy used by the Terengganu BN to ensure that the people were not influenced by the opposition's allegations, Idris said many things had been shared with the state's top leadership.
"Only the people of Terengganu have the right to judge our services. Terengganu politics is at its best level. Insyaallah, we will record a big win," said the UMNO Supreme Council member.
Idris led BN's Blue Wave campaign to wrest Terengganu from PAS in the 2004 general election.
