Choose Gov't For Future Generation - Former PPBM Member

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 20 (Bernama) -- Former Srikandi Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) chief Anina Saadudin said the people in the country should choose a government for the future generation in the coming 14th General Election (GE14).

She said the people were confused with the political games being played by the opposition pact, including the choice of their prime minister and deputy prime minister should they win in the GE14.

"The opposition also did not offer anything worthwhile to be supported, they described the government of the day as bad but they themselves are weak," she said at a media conference during the launch of Empirical Malaysia, a non governmental organisation that was established recently here today.

Empirical Malaysia, which was registered in October last year, is a pressure group that assists the government develop the economy of the Malays and Bumiputera through empirical studies being conducted jointly with a group of professionals.

Anina, who is also the NGO's president, said she wanted the people to make a proper assessment in the GE14 by electing a political party with a good track record in taking care of the people's welfare.
