MCA Confident Of Regaining Rasah Parliamentary Seat From DAP
SEREMBAN, Jan 20 (Bernama) -- MCA is confident of putting up a good fight to wrest back the Rasah Parliamentary seat from DAP in the upcoming 14th General Election (GE14).
National MCA Youth Legislative Bureau chief Ng Kian Nam said the optimism was based on voters' feedback over the unsatisfactory performance by incumbent Teo Kok Seong in the past one year.
"Looking at our work so far, I have found that the support of the Chinese community has begun to swing towards Barisan Nasional (BN).
"From their feedback, they say that their representative has no clear vision and mission or long-term planning for them. Therefore, they want a new representative who can fulfill their aspirations," he told Bernama here, tonight.
Ng is among the individuals touted as the potential MCA candidate for the Rasah Parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections.
In GE13, Kok Seong beat MCA's Teo Eng Kian with a majority of 24,101 votes.
