BN Promises In GE13 For Negeri Sembilan Fulfilled - Mohamad
SEREMBAN, Jan 23 (Bernama) -- The promises made by Barisan Nasional (BN) during the 13th general election were fulfilled through the various long-term policies and plans currently implemented by the Negeri Sembilan state government, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
Taking the example of the social safety net policy, Mohamad said it proved to be a holistic one that changed the development landscape of the state, economy, welfare, social and living standards of the people.
"For example, in terms of housing ... with affordable becoming a challenge, the state government came up with a policy to solve this problem, namely the Negeri Sembilan Housing Policy (2015) which is aimed at increasing the capability of home ownership in society," he said here, today.
He said this in his speech at the An Evening With The Leader programme at the Negeri Sembilan Women's Organisation (NSWO) building here which was also attended by the organisation's president Datin Seri Salbiah Tengku Nujumudin, who is also his wife.
The menteri besar said the government under his leadership also stressed on education of the people in the state.
In terms of development, Mohamad said Negeri Sembilan would be experiencing a very rapid development around Seremban, Port Dickson and Nilai through the Malaysia Vision Valley project that will benefit the people in the state.
