Be Wary Of Viral News Call To BN, UMNO Supporters
BALING, Jan 29 (Bernama) -- UMNO and Barisan Nasional supporters have been advised against falling prey to the list of so-called potential candidates for the 14th General Election being circulated over the social media.
Kulim/Bandar Baharu Puteri UMNO chief Datuk Norsabrina Mohd Noor said the viral message was a ploy of certain quarters to divide and weaken the BN.
"Not only name lists, but all kinds of information and photographs will be viralled by these people. Be professional and seek the truth behind every piece of news that is circulated," she said to reporters after the signing of a collaboration between the Malaysia Productivity Corporation and Kolej Universiti Insaniah (Kuin) in Kuala Ketil near here today.
Norsabrina, who is the state assemblyman for Bandar Baharu, was asked to comment on a message circulated on WhatsApp claiming to contain the list of BN candidates for Kedah for the 14th General Election.
