Selangor Pakatan Yet To Finalise Distribution Of State Seats For GE14 - Azmin
SHAH ALAM, Jan 29 (Bernama) -- Selangor Pakatan Harapan has yet to finalise the distribution of the state seats among the component parties for the 14th General Election, according to chairman Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
He said the pact needed more time to do that.
Although the distribution of seats had yet to be finalised, Selangor Pakatan Harapan was ready even if the general election were to be held in April, he said to reporters after attending the monthly assembly of Selangor government departments here today.
"It is safe for me to state that we are ready for the general election, whether it is in terms of candidates or distribution of seats," he said.
Mohamed Azmin, who is the Selangor menteri besar, was asked to comment on the reported allegation by Selangor Parti Amanah Negara communication director Jamzuri Ardani that Mohamed Azmin was intentionally delaying the distribution of state seats for GE14.
Asked whether he would defend his Gombak parliamentary seat and Bukit Antarabangsa state seat in GE14, Mohamed Azmin, who is PKR deputy president, said the matter had yet to be decided and was subject to discussions in the party.
