N87 To Continue Wooing Voters, Ensure BN Wins GE14
KOTA KINABALU, Jan 31 (Bernama) -- Kelab Sahabat Najib (Friends of Najib Club) Malaysia, known as N87, will continue to woo voters to ensure all seats contested by Barisan Nasional (BN), win in the coming 14th General Election (GE14).
Its treasurer Datuk Abdul Fattah Iskandar said all club members nationwide had been informed to help BN wins in GE14.
"The main purpose the club was set up is to help the current BN leadership,"he said when launching the Zone 2 (Penampang, Putatan dan Sepanggar) of N87 here last night.
Also present were Sabah N87 chairman Zahari Mohd Zinin and Sepanggai N87 chairman Datuk Jumat Idris, who is also Sepanggar Member of Parliament.
He said the club currently has about 3,000 members nationwide, comprising mostly of political veterans, who have retired.
On the launch of the Zone 2 N87, Abdul Fattah said it followed the club's launch at Tawau and Sandakan recently.
"So far Sabah has about 300 members and I hope all of them will help BN wins GE14 at their respective areas,"he said, adding that more such clubs would be launched in other divisions in the state.
N87 was formed on May 3, 2016 and aimed to gather all former UMNO Youth Wing members who are the contemporaries of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
