ROS Need Not Be Afraid Of Tun M

SHAH ALAM, Feb 8 (Bernama) -- A former executive secretary of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) Kamarul Azman Habibur Rahman today urged the Registrar of Societies (ROS) to be fair and firm regarding party issues which were claimed to have violated its constitution.

He also called on the ROS not to be afraid of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and not to fall into the trap set by the PPBM chairman.

"The ROS cannot practise double standard where when Tun Mahathir leads the PPBM and Pakatan Harapan, special treatment is accorded to the PPBM. Actually, this should not happen and the ROS should be fair.

"I feel Tun Mahathir is already aware that PPBM will not last long because the party had contravened its regulations and constitution. So, he now tries to blame others as though there were people trying to sabotage the party...Tun also blames the ROS by saying that he did not receive feedback from the ROS (regarding the PPBM registration)," he said in a press conference, here today.

According to Kamarul Azman, immediate action must be taken as more than 400 reports had been lodged by PPBM members to the ROS earlier.
