BN Perak In Final Stage Of Assessing Potential Candidates
PANGKOR, Feb 10 (Bernama) -- Perak Barisan Nasional (BN) is in the final stage of preparation for the 14th general election (GE14), says state UMNO Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.
He said Perak BN was currently conducting in-depth assessment on the potential candidates to ensure victory in the upcoming general election.
"To date, all the preparations for the GE14 have gone smoothly and we are in the final stage of preparation including assessing the potentials of the candidates and their positions.
"We also held discussions on the areas that need attention and I have gone to the parliamentary constituencies to check on the preparations for the general election which will be held anytime soon, " he said.
The Perak Menteri Besar told a press conference after launching the MyBomba People's Representative Committee (JPP) and the Pangkor Island Fire Safety Campaign 2018 at Kampung Teluk Kecil multipurpose hall here today.
Zambry, who is also Pangkor assemblyman, said the response from the BN members was positive and encouraging.
