Govt Constantly Finding Ways To Assist The People - Sabah CM

KOTA KINABALU, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- The government is constantly making efforts and finding ideas on how best to champion the interest of the people, according to Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman.

He said the Barisan Nasional (BN) government under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had never neglected the people and in fact was stepping up its efforts to assist the people.

"The BN government is committed in seeing to the wellbeing of the people. The state and federal government have provided various facilities particularly to assist local entrepreneurs," he said while launching the MobilePreneur@KKLW programme here today.

Meanwhile, Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the Mobilepreneur@KKLW was an initiative to assist rural youths in running a business or services on minimal capital without having to rent business premises.

He said 291 selected participants in Sabah would join the programme this year.

"Today, we are presenting motorcycles to 136 participants who will enter the Felcra Consultation and Training Centre and to another 155 participants soon," he said.

He said Mobilepreneur@KKLW was introduced in 2016 and had produced 3,500 entrepreneurs. Another 1,000 would be trained this year with an allocation of RM10 million as announced in Budget 2018.
