BN Will Continue To Receive Support Of The Indian Community - Mohamad
PORT DICKSON, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Negeri Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan is confident Barisan Nasional (BN) will continue to get solid support from the Indian community in the coming general election.
He said the reason being that the Indian community was now disappointed with the opposition for failing to fulfil its promises.
In Negeri Sembilan, he said, all issues concerning the Indian community had been resolved.
"All problems resolved, no more issues, the temple issue is resolved, the school issue (also) settled. Don't listen to people who talk bad about the government, what have they done for the Indian community," he said at the Indian Young Stars Talk Show here tonight.
Mohamad, who is also State BN chairman, said policies implemented by the state government were for the benefit of all the people, including implementation of the Malaysian Vision Valley (MVV) project.
"MVV is a long-term plan for the modernisation of Negeri Sembilan. We want to carry out a development that is sustainable, well-planned and futuristic.
"Through MVV, which is expected to reap investments of RM290 billion and creates 1.38 million employment, I want the Melaka people to seize the opportunities available," he said, adding that the project is capable of changing the social and economic landscape of the state.
Also present were State Secretary Datuk Seri Mat Ali Hassan and the state executive council members.
