Only BN Can Bring Vast Development - Ongkili
KOTA MARUDU, Feb 18 (Bernama) -- The Barisan Nasional (BN) will continue to bring development allocations to Sabah, especially for rural infrastructure, says Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili.
He said better infrastructures like roads and education facilities would reduce the development gap drastically, between Sabah and the Peninsula.
"Only a strong BN government can do this," he told reporters after the Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Chinese New Year walkabout in Sikuati town here today.
The Kota Marudu MP said the opposition had no development agenda for Sabah, and worse, it was disunited and excelled only in criticising the government.
Ongkili, who is also PBS acting president, later attended the Au Ah Yun @ Baruang Asiew's Chinese New Year family event at Kampung Tawakul, Matunggong.
He also presented mandarin oranges to the Sino-Rungus community at the village.
