Kota Bharu PPBM Division Srikandi Claims Abuse
KOTA BHARU, Feb 20 (Bernama) -- The Srikandi of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) Kota Bharu Division claim they were being used after being forced to come out with their own funds for party programs.
Kota Bharu Division PPBM Srikandi chief Normala Abd Kadir said the movement did not receive any funds from PPBM to implement party programs since her involvement in the party three years ago.
"On the other hand, most were procured by the members of their respective division leaders whilst the party was set up by an extremely rich person. To me, this has deviated far from the aspiration of its setting up to champion the welfare of the people," she told a media conference here today.
Normala said if PPBM truly wanted to champion the lot of the people the party leadership must come up with the funds to mobilise party activities.
However, she said the members were forced to come up with the money and this was regarded as a contravention by the movement and other party supporters.
