PAS Syura Ulama Council Approves 90 Per Cent Of Candidates List
KOTA BHARU, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- PAS Ulama Syura Council has approved 90 per cent of the names proposed to be fielded as the party's candidates in the 14th general election (GE14).
Deputy President Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said PAS in each state had submitted two or three names of candidates to run for their allocated parliamentary and state seats.
"However, at this stage we have not specifically decided (on who will contest which seat)," he told reporters after giving a 'ceramah' (talk) on current issues at Kampung Pauh Butut, Pasir Tumboh here last night.
PAS in few other states, especially Sabah and Sarawak, have yet to submit their lists of candidates, he said.
