People In Sabah Interiors Still Need BN To Lead - Sairin
KENINGAU, March 7 (Bernama) -- The people living in the interiors of Sabah still need the Barisan Nasional (BN) to lead the government, says state Assistant Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, Datuk Sairin Karno.
He said this was because the party leadership had really helped the people and had brought several developments to the interior regions.
"Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak truly understands the people and their needs...this is why the people here are loyal to BN," he said here today.
Sairin added that the opposition did not have the means to assist the people, but could only find weaknesses of the BN government and use them as their political agenda.
As such, he advised people in the interiors to unite in rejecting the opposition, who he said were only around to distract the people from supporting the government.
