Sabotaging BN members face two-year suspension - Tengku Adnan

KUALA LUMPUR, March 27 (Bernama) -- Members of Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties who sabotage their parties expressly or implicitly will be suspended from their parties for two years, said BN secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.
The offenders would be suspended by their respective parties on the advice of the BN top leadership, he said, adding that the matter was decided at a meeting of the BN Special Committee on March 23.
Tengku Adnan's warning comes as the country gears up for the 14th general election.
He also said that the special committee advised all component parties to remind their members to uphold the spirit of camaraderie, togetherness and mutual respect among party members.
"Barisan Nasional leaders and members are reminded to maintain the spirit of camaraderie and unity that has been long established in facing the 14th general election and in the future," he said.
