Dewan Rakyat passes motion on review of electoral boundaries 
KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 (Bernama) -- The Dewan Rakyat today passed by 129 votes to 80 the motion on the review of electoral boundaries.
The decision of the block voting was announced by Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia.
The motion was tabled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak while Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi wound up the debate on the motion.
Fourteen MPs from the Barisan Nasional and the opposition spoke during the debate.
The Report on the Review of Electoral Boundaries will be presented to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V, for His Majesty's consent before it is gazetted.
The amended electoral constituencies will be used in the coming 14th General Election.
