BN's power-sharing, moderation concept strengthen unity - Sairin

KENINGAU, April 7 (Bernama) -- The power-sharing and moderation concept practised by the Barisan Nasional (BN) government has strengthened unity among the people of various races and stability in the country, said Sabah Agriculture and Food Industry assistant minister Datuk Sairin Karno.
He said the government's ongoing efforts in enhancing the nation's prosperity and the well-being of the people in rural areas, especially in the interior of Keningau, also proved the BN government's sincerity in ruling the country.
"The people of diverse races, cultures, religions especially in Sabah are very lucky as we live harmoniously in this country."
"Despite our different political beliefs and philosophies, we can still work together and respect each other...we need to maintain this quality," he said here today.
On the 14th General Election, Sairin who is also Keningau UMNO division chief called on voters in Keningau to reject the opposition which had no power and ability to help the people.
He said the people should instead choose a party with a good track record like BN.
