BN manifesto achievable - Sabah BN Youth

PENAMPANG, April 8 (Bernama) -- The pledges by the Barisan Nasional (BN) in its manifesto for the 14th General Election (GE14), launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak last night, are achievable.
Sabah BN Youth chief Yamani Hafez Musa, who described the manifesto as 'special', said the manifesto also included the interests of the people of Sabah and Sarawak, especially in restoring the rights of the two states under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).
"There are many more in the realistic manifesto and it addresses the people's concern," he told reporters after launching the Sabah BN Youth Career Carnival here today.
Yamani Hafez said the one-day carnival offered 3,000 job opportunities for local youths.
On another development, he said the Sabah BN Youth had submitted a proposal for more young people to be nominated as candidates in the coming general election.
The emergence of many young candidates in the GE14 would give an impression that the BN was not lacking in young leaders with calibre to develop the country, said Yamani Hafez.
Meanwhile, in KOTA KINABALU, UMNO Youth Information chief Jamawi Jaafar said the increments for the recipients of the 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M) proved the BN's commitment to improve the well-being and quality of life of the people
He said the ability of BN as a government in strengthening the economy and raising national income enabled the country's economic cake to be distributed fairly to the people.
