Fake poster : Permatang Pauh UMNO chief lodges police report
BUKIT MERTAJAM, April 12 (Bernama) -- Permatang Pauh UMNO division chief Datuk Mohd Zaidi Mohd Said today lodged a police report over his posters on giveaway of spectacles being replaced to giveaway of bras.
The poster which had been modified to read free breast examination programme with the spectacles 'replaced' with undergarments went viral on social media since yesterday evening.
Speaking to reporters after lodging the police report at the Seberang Perai Tengah district police headquarters, Mohd Zaidi said the action taken by the irresponsible parties had embarrassed the womenfolk.
"I urge the police to investigate this matter until the culprits are caught," he said.
He said the matter had also caused much confusion and appealed to the public to stop spreading the doctored poster as the undergarment giveaway was fake news.
