Ahmad Jazlan confident Kelantanese residing in other states will support BN

MACHANG, April 13 (Bernama) -- Kelantan UMNO Liaison Committee deputy chairman Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub is confident that the Kelantanese voters residing outside the state will support the Kelantan Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 14th General Election.
He said this was because there was an emerging awareness among them to start trusting the BN following the failure of PAS-led government to administer the state for the past 28 years.
"This emerging awareness among the Kelantanese voters residing outside the state is the result of the integrated operations launched by the Kelantan BN in the Klang Valley and Johor," he told reporters after launching the 'Jom Bantu Rakyat' programme and the opening of the road connecting Desa Padang Selising to Padang Raja here today.
The deputy minister also presented over 1,200 food baskets containing rice, biscuits and tea to smallholders who attended the event.
Ahmad Jazlan said he also believed that there would not be any tussle over the election candidates and UMNO members would accept the decision of the party leadership.
