Labuan's streets transformed overnight with political party flags, banners
LABUAN, April 17 (Bernama) -- Labuan's streets are transformed overnight as political parties put up their campaign flags and banners everywhere ahead of the 14th general election.
Entire road dividers and roundabouts towards the town and villages are covered with the flags of the various parties.
Meanwhile, Barisan Nasional (BN) flags dominated the entire areas, and opposition parties comprising PKR, Warisan and PAS were also jumping into queue to show their existence in the duty-free-island.
A spokesman of the local authority said while there was no strict restriction imposed on any political party to put up their flags, the flags must not distract traffic flow.
