Cops nab three women for damaging BN flags
KUALA LUMPUR, April 18 (Bernama)-- Police detained three women suspected of tearing down and damaging Barisan Nasional flags at Taman Tun Dr Ismail, yesterday.
City police chief Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim confirmed their arrest when met by Bernama at the Defence Services Asia (DSA) and National Security (NatSec) Asia 2018 exhibitions at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) here, today.
Two of the suspects aged 31, while the third is 37.
Mazlan said five scissors believed to be used for damaging the flags were seized from the suspects.
"The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for committing mischief and damages," he said.
