Sivarraajh denies he is a MyPPP member

KUALA LUMPUR, April 18 (Bernama) -- MIC Youth chief Datuk C. Sivarraajh today denies a claim by MyPPP president Tan Sri M. Kayveas that he is still a member of the party after joining it in 2004.

Sivarraajh said this in reaction to a statement by Kayveas yesterday that the MIC Youth chief had joined MyPPP on June 21, 2003 at its branch in Brickfields Utama with a membership number of 333981.

Stressing that he had never applied for a MyPPP membership, Sivarraajh urged those who had records of his membership to show them to him.

"Because I can send a letter to resign from MyPPP. I don't know where they (MyPPP) obtained the membership number. It is not my problem if someone deliberately entered me as a MyPPP member," he told a media conference at the MIC Headquarters here today.

He said his first involvement in politics was with MIC in 2004.

But, Sivarraajh said he would not take legal action against Kayveas because MyPPP is a component of Barisan Nasional.
