Najib expresses condolences to Semporna UMNO member, family of driver
KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today expressed his condolences to Semporna UMNO Division Committee member Datuk Abdul Hajan Gurimbang on the death of his wife in a road accident on Tuesday and to the family of the driver of the vehicle involved.
"My condolences to the family of the driver who was killed and also to Datuk Abdul Hajan Gurimbang who lost his beloved wife, may her soul be blessed, " the Prime Minister said in Twitter today.
According to a local press report, Datin Rositah Ghani Abdul Shah, 53, died at Duchess of Kent Hospital on Thursday while the driver Sulaiman Harianto, 28, died at the scene in the incident at Jalan Kota Kinabalu-Sandakan near Bukit Taviu, Ranau.
