Vote for the right government, not to punish
MUAR, April 21 (Bernama) -- Voters are advised to go out to exercise their right on polling day by voting for the right government and not vote based on sentiment of hatred or anger.
Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister´s Department Datuk Seri Razali Ibrahim said there were voters who were influenced by the opposition´s slander against Barisan Nasional (BN) that it made them want to ensure BN would be defeated.
"These people should first think whether their decision to not give their vote to the existing ruling party is because of their vengeance and anger towards BN.
"If it´s just to satisfy their anger and hatred towards BN, they should think about the country´s future, if it´s not under BN, " he said when presenting the cost of living allowance to 595 fishermen in the Muar parliamentary constituency here today.
Razali, who is the incumbent Muar Member of Parliament, said the BN government was 100 per cent committed to improve the fishing community with various initiatives having being introduced, including the monthly RM300 cost of living allowance since the past 10 years and the diesel subsidy.
"The government also continues to help fishermen by providing various facilities through agencies such as the Fisheries Development Board, regardless whether they are BN supporters or not, " he said.
