Six police reports lodged on fake news about N.Sembilan Menteri Besar
SEREMBAN, April 21 (Bernama) -- Six police reports have been lodged by residents in Sendayan and the Sendayan UMNO division over postings on images and status by a Facebook account holder which were alleged to be fake news on Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
The reports were lodged by Kampung Sendayan Development and Security Committee, Kampung Sendayan MIC, Sendayan UMNO division, Kampung Sendayan UMNO Youth leader, Kampung Sendayan Wanita UMNO and the Negeri Sembilan Graduates' Association at the Seremban 2 police station at about 1.15 pm today.
Seri Sendayan UMNO Information committee member Noh Ahmad said the report was lodged based on the status and images posted on a Facebook account belonging to one Steven AC stating that a ?Leader with the People' programme at the Sendayan Community Hall received poor response from local residents.
"It stated that Tok Mat's (Mohamad Hasan) programme with the community was not attended by many people by showing an image of an empty hall," he told Bernama here today.
A status uploaded by the Facebook account holder yesterday read "Majlis Menteri Besar Negeri Sembilan bersama pengundi Sendayan Seremban, pucat muka Haji Hassan bila masuk dewan semua meja kosong. Terima Kasih Rakyat Seremban Syabas. Tak Nak BN......ABU' (Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar with the Sendayan voters programme, Seremban, Haji Hassan's face was pale when he entered the hall, tables were empty. Thank you, people of Seremban. Congratulations. Don't Want BN ...ABU".
