Migrating to big cities for work normal world over - Salleh

File Bernama

KUALA LUMPUR, April 22 (Bernama) -- People relocating elsewhere to work is a global phenomenon and therefore people from other states coming to Selangor in search of work is nothing out of the ordinary, said Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak.

He said this has been going on for a long time even before PKR took over Selangor in 2008.

Hence, he said PKR Deputy President Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali had insulted the Kelantan Government by saying that many Kelantanese have migrated to Selangor in search of employment because the PAS-led state government cannot guarantee them employment.

"When PAS was in coalition with PKR from 1999 to 2015, the opposition would use Kelantan as the best example of a well-run opposition state.

"Now Azmin mocks Kelantan because GE14 is around the corner," said Salleh in his blog posting, tonight.

Salleh said if Mohamed Azmin wants to look for issues to hit at PAS then he should look for sensible ones.
