Don't have resentment against GE14 candidates - Ahmad Zahid
IPOH, April 24 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said there should not be any resentment whether one is nominated as a candidate or not for the parliamentary or state seats in the 14th General Election (GE14).
Ahmad Zahid, who is also Barisan Nasional (BN) deputy chairman, said those nominated as candidates were the outcome of the final decision made by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as BN chairman.
"Therefore, ladies and gentlemen who are invited this morning, don't think too much about being renominated to represent BN because outside there are more people who are sad for not being nominated this time.
"The proposers and supporters of candidates, if there are problems among the resentment group, measures needed to be taken to resolve them," he said when speaking at the announcement of the Perak candidates event here today.
He said there should not be any internal problems, otherwise measures or approaches needed to be taken to solve them.
