Labuan BN candidate established close rapport with people - PBS
LABUAN, April 25 (Bernama) -- Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) has pledged to go all out to help the Labuan Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate win in the 14th General Election (GE14) with a handsome majority.
In an interview today, Labuan PBS division chief, Datuk Peter Mak said the incumbent, Datuk Rozman Isli had established close rapport with the people at large and been at the forefront on various issues over the past five years.
"Labuan, being an oil and gas and international financial hub, is heading towards a vibrant economic destination.
"We must not be left behind in the area of economic development. Therefore, a handsome majority is needed to help ensure continuous development on the island being a federal territory," he said.
Rozman is facing PAS, Warisan, Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah and an independent in a five-corner battle.
