Pahang PKR to contest for four parliamentary, 14 state seats
KUANTAN, April 27 (Bernama) -- PKR today confirmed that the party is fielding its candidates for four parliamentary and 14 state seats in Pahang for the 14th general election (GE14).
The final list of candidates for the parliamentary seats included Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah, for the Indera Mahkota seat and Fuziah Salleh, to defend the Kuantan seat, while the other candidates for the parliamentary seats are Zakaria Abdul Hamid (Bera) and Sitarunisah Ab Kadir (Rompin).
The party's candidates for the state seats included Rasid Muhammad (Cheka); Sabaruddin Mohd Yassim (Benta); Dasimah Zainuddin (Batu Talam); Wong Chun Yuan (Damak); Fakhrul Anuar Zulkawi (Inderapura); Datuk Fauzi Abd Rahman (Sungai Lembing); Kamarzaman Mohamed Yunus (Panching); Mohamad Razali Ithnain (Chini); Rosli Amin (Luit); Bostamin Bakar (Kuala Sentul) and Manolan Mohamad (Kemayan).
Also in the list are Lee Chean Chung and Sim Chon Siang, who will defend their Semambu and Teruntum state seats, respectively.
The list was announced by Pahang Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Fauzi Abd Rahman at the pre-launch of the Pahang PH manifesto here today.
On the manifesto, Fauzi said it contained 10 pledges, including to reduce the logging quota by 20 per cent in stages.
The manifesto would be launched by PH chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed on May 2, he said.
