PM Najib criticises those spreading fake news on election
KUALA LUMPUR, April 27 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today criticised the action of social media users who share fake news concerning the general election.
In his twitter entry today Najib provided an example of a user's recording in the social website that purportedly cheating had occurred in the voting process.
The writer is also the same, initially he wrote he was not certain whether it was #fakenews and yet he shared it. If you are not sure, don't share. Don't be an agent of destruction! Najib said.
In the twitter entry, he said every time an election is held, the opposition will spread slander as though cheating occurs during the voting process.
"Accuse this and that, it is really terrible #TsunamiPHitnah, he said.
