Najib, Rosmah join Pekan residents for 'solat hajat'
PEKAN, April 27 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak joined the congregation at the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Haj Mosque here tonight to perform 'solat hajat' (prayer of needs) in conjunction with the 14th General Election.
Also present were his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, and their son, Norashman.
Four Barisan Nasional candidates, namely Khairuddin Mahmud who will be contesting the Pulau Manis state seat; Sh. Mohmed Fuzi Sh. Ali (Peramu Jaya); Mohammad Fakhruddin Mohd Ariff (Bebar) and Datuk Abu Bakar Harun (Chini) were among the 500 members of the congregation.
