GE14: Three-cornered fight for Putrajaya
PUTRAJAYA, April 28 (Bernama) -- The Putrajaya parliamentary seat will witness a three-cornered fight among the BN, PAS and PKR-PPBM in the 14th general election on May 9.
Federal Territories BN chairman Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, 68, is being challenged by former Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) Deputy Vice-Chancellor Abidin Kidam, 68, of PAS and former Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia lecturer Datuk Dr Samsu Adabi Mamat, 49, of PPBM.
Putrajaya Returning Officer Datuk Azizi Ahmad Tarmizi declared that the seat would see a three-cornered contest.
Putrajaya has 27,306 electors. Tengku Adnan won the seat for the third term at GE13 with a majority of 5,541 votes.
