Mahdzir in three-cornered fight for Padang Terap parliamentary seat
PADANG TERAP, April 28 ( Bernama) -- The Padang Terap parliamentary seat will witness a three-cornered fight between incumbent Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid of BN against PAS candidate Mohd Azam Majid @ Abd Aziz and Mohd Khairizal Khazali of PKR-PPBM, in the 14th general election on May 9.
Returning Officer Fathullah Suhaimi Ismail made the announcement at the nomination centre at Padang Terap District Council at 11.45 am.
The contest for Kuala Nerang state seat is among Datuk Badrol Hisham Hashim of BN, Munir@ Mohamad Yusoff Zakaria (PAS) and Syed Fadzil Syed Embun (PKR-PPBM).
Kama Noriah Ibrahim of BN is defending the Pedu state seat against Mohd Radzi Md Amin of PAS and Hashim Idris of PKR.
