Pencinta to provide free meals to KB residents during GE14 campaign
KOTA BHARU, April 28 (Bernama) -- Persatuan Warga Cinta Negara Malaysia (Pencinta) will provide free meals to Kota Bharu residents throughout the 11-day campaigning period for the 14 General Election.
Pencinta executive director Datuk Seri Izudin Ishak said the programme which began today was a community service initiative for the people in Kota Bharu especially those involved in the election campaign in the constituency.
A wide range of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner will be prepared for approximately 3,000 people who came to the dining area located at a petrol station in Jalan Long Yunus here from 10 am to 2 am daily, he told reporters at the launch of the programme here today.
The programme was launched by Kota Bharu UMNO division chief Tan Sri Mohamad Fatmi Che Salleh.
