Opposition pact is the real troublemakers in GE14 - Kedah PAS Commissioner
ALOR SETAR, April 29 (Bernama) -- The opposition pact is the real troublemakers in the 14th General Election (GE14), says Kedah PAS commissioner Dr Ahmad Fakhruddin Sheikh Fakhrurazi.
"Pakatan Harapan claims that PAS is a troublemaker to the opposition pact in the GE14 but the real troublemaker is actually Pakatan (Harapan) itself.
"The truth is PAS has existed in the Malaysia's political arena much longer than Pakatan Harapan," he told a media conference at the Kedah Pas Complex, Kota Sarang Semut here today.
On the claim by certain quarters that PAS no longer had strongholds in the GE14, Ahmad Fakhruddin described it as part of the political strategies and psychological warfare of PAS opponents to make PAS look weak in the eyes of the people.
"We (PAS) are confident with the party's ability and that the people are getting wiser to judge. Therefore, they (Pakatan Harapan) should never underestimate PAS's ability," he said.
Meanwhile, he said the Kedah PAS would carry out the election campaign with prudence and maturely by focusing on explaining its manifesto to the people.
