BN leaders do not practise unruly politics - Perak MB

TELUK INTAN, April 30 (Bernama) -- Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders have always practised a judicious way of campaigning and approaching the people of Perak, said state BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.

He said this was vastly different from the opposition which practices unruly politics like insulting, slandering, accusing and lying, in their campaigning during the general election.

Zambry who is also Perak Menteri Besar said he was confident the people would make their assessments rationally when choosing the people's representative in their constituencies so that the agenda for development and the people's welfare would be continued.

"My friends and I in BN do not practise unruly politics by hurling insults or lies, but are more judicious in our campaigning.

"We are also confident with the work (for development and to improve the people's economy) which is systematic and strategic implemented by all BN candidates in the state," he said.

Zambry was speaking to reporters after launching a project to improve and upgrade the sewerage system in Kampung Bahagia here today.

The project which was completed last April, at a cost of RM1.16 million benefited about 2,000 residents in the Kampung Bahagia area.

Zambry added he was confident that in GE14, BN would retain the Teluk Intan parliamentary seat and the Changkat Jong state seat, as well as wrest the Pasir Bedamar state seat.

He said this was because all the BN candidates in Teluk Intan parliamentary constituency were locals who always worked to serve the people compared to the opposition which only turned up during the election season.
