BN's momentum improving to win back Kelantan - Mustapa

KOTA BHARU, May 1 (Bernama) -- The Barisan Nasional's (BN) momentum to wrest back Kelantan in the 14th general election (GE14) is building up with the entire party machinery working hard to ensure victory for all BN candidates, says Kelantan BN chairman Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed.
He said the commitment shown by the party machinery had also built the momentum of support from the people for BN candidates and in certain areas, the support was so overwhelming compared to the support for the opposition.
"We have been building the momentum from the day BN managed to increase the number of its parliamentary seats in Kelantan to five in GE13 from only two previously, and the number of its state seats to 12 in GE13 from only six previously," he told a press conference at the Kelantan BN media centre here today.
Mustapa said in GE14, BN is contesting all 14 parliamentary and 45 state seats in Kelantan and would continue to build its strength by providing better and consistent service to the people.
