Muhyiddin does not undermine Johor BN's strength - Hishammuddin

"That was what happened to (former Deputy Prime Minister) Tun Musa Hitam. So what makes Tan Sri Muhyiddin so special?," he told reporters during a visit to Taman Bunga Raya here in the Hulu Selangor parliamentary constituency here today.

Muhyiddin, who is UMNO deputy president, before being sacked from the party in 2016, is defending the Pagoh parliamentary seat and also contesting the Gambir state seat.

In a related development, Hishammuddin, who is defending the Sembrong parliamentary seat, said the Johor BN did not take lightly the accusations hurled by the oppositions and had intensified it strategy to counter them.

On the BN campaign, he said it was going smoothly with all quarters working as a team.

Earlier in his speech, Hishammuddin said the BN candidates for the Hulu Selangor parliamentary seat and the state seats in the constituency were a dream team that could bring changes for the good of the constituents.

He said efforts should be made to capture the Kuala Kubu Baharu seat from the opposition, as well as defend the Hulu Selangor parliamentary seat and the Batang Kali and Hulu Bernam state seats.
