Ahmad Bashah Regrets Mukhriz Is Now Reviling Others

ALOR SETAR, May 6 (Bernama) -- The PKR-PPBM candidate for the Jerlun parliamentary seat, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir has made a 360-degree turn as he now is likes to revile others after joining the DAP-led opposition pact, said Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah.

He said his attitude and behavior had changed from a gentle person to a person of bad character and raising the ire of others.

"I myself did not expect it. Indeed, he was a gentle person but the gentleness is gone after he joined up with the opposition. His good manners are gone, he has to follow Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng (DAP leaders) and sing to their tune," he told reporters at the 2018 Kedah State Level Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Baiti Jannati Project Premier Handing Over Ceremony at Alor Merah, here, Saturday.

At the event, 15 new homeowners from all over Kedah received their respective keys via an allocation of RM750,000, which was also attended by TNB Kedah General Manager (Customer Service), Ismail Lathifi Teh.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Bashah advised voters not to be easily influenced by the opposition's allegations on the use of ink on the finger that its was easy to remove during the early voting in conjunction with the 14th General Election (GE14) today.

He said voters should trust the Election Commission (EC) as the commission has conducted a study before using the ink to ensure the polling process would be conducted in a transparent manner.

Ahmad Bashah also said the acceptance of the young people to join UMNO was getting better which proved their belief in the sacred party was not lost as the opposition claimed.
